Great News! After agonizing rethinking and rewrites of just what rewards I would provide to my supporters, the seemingly endless struggle to create the video, and then getting the several “verifications” that are required for the financial end of things, my Kickstarter Project is now FINISHED, SUBMITTED, AND APPROVED!!
You gotta take a look at it – click HERE. And if this looks interesting to you, please consider becoming a Project Supporter. I would really appreciate it. Any pledge helps, and I think some of my rewards, like painting a portrait at a really mouthwatering price, would make a great Christmas gift.
Naturally, on the same day the Project was approved, the police evicted Occupy Philadelphia from their City Hall digs. I’m hearing some pretty impressive ideas about what to do next, though, so I’m sure there will be lots more assemblies and activities. My Project is not in jeopardy.
Actually, I think the eviction could have been the best thing that could happen for Occupy sites. So much energy had to go into just maintaining the site mfechanics – hopefully now they will be forced to think about their larger goals, and how best to move on them.
Anyway, here are a couple more recent portraits. The work goes on!

Jerome was glad to sit for his portrait, at a time when things were winding down before the Eviction.
